Our click tracking technology uses secure HTTPS server-side redirects to record advertising interactions before directing users to the advertiser's declared destination.
Google Ads Transparent Click Tracking
For Google Ads, Hype Digital uses transparent click tracking. The advertiser's Google Ads Final URL is passed to our tracking service through the lpurl transparency parameter.
Our tracking service records the advertising interaction and issues an HTTP 302 redirect directly to the URL supplied in the lpurl parameter. The destination is not replaced with an alternate destination stored within our tracking system. See our example below:

The advertiser's Google Ads Final URL is passed to our tracking service using Google's {lpurl} ValueTrack parameter. Our tracking service uses the resulting lpurl value as the redirect destination and issues a server-side HTTP 302 redirect to that URL.
The result? More accurate Google Ads campaign tracking and more useful attribution data, helping you make better-informed advertising decisions.
